Weary of the mundaneness,
Of his dreary and tedious work,
Of causing joy, wrath and berserk,
Destiny decided to take a few moments off,
To amuse himself with wine and laugh!
So, he decided to give Choice,
To the two rival clowns of the town,
A choice between the coveted crown,
And the most dreaded drown!
The crown made of glory and joyance,
The drown, of shame and decadence!
All was set, the two paths were laid,
Before the clowns of the town,
And they could choose their destiny.
The waves of the Pacific,
Of alternating ferocious roar,
And formidable aplomb,
Brought the crown ashore,
And tossed it at the doorstep
Of Clown one's little abode!
Made of rubies and uncut diamonds,
The crown, it reflected lights very bright,
That spanned the vast expanse of the skies!
But the clown, inebriated as he was,
Went berserk at the seemingly silly prank,
Of the foolish kids in the neighborhood,
And regarding the crown with,
Disgust and contemptuous mirth,
He kicked it hard with all his might,
Blissfully unaware of the repercussions,
And his fore-coming woeful plight!
And the second clown of the town
Stumbled upon the coveted crown,
The kicked and abused crown,
Marveled at its stupefying beauty,
Treated it with reverence and awe,
And tenderly placed on his head!
And ha! There came grand palanquins,
Out of nowhere and carrying gold,
There came soldiers marching,
In hundreds and thousands,
Only to halt before their master,
On their knees, and ready to oblige!
And no, he was no more a clown,
He was now The King,
The King who conquered the world,
With the mighty weapon of love,
Resided in the palace of my heart,
And lived in opulence forever and ever!
